LINA BO BARDI EXHIBITIONThis is a fictional exhibition created for architect Lina Bo Bardi. It indicates the kind of content present in such an exhibition, with hints of her style. The visual system is flexible for seamless incorporation throughout: promotional posters, informative ephemera, examples of way-finding systems, and a short animation.

The visual system is formed around key aspects of Bo Bardi’s architecture style: modernist and vernacular. Little details were considered to make the link back to her work strong. These were mainly focused around what makes her architecture designs stand out from others.

My challenge was combining two key elements that maker her work stand out. What helped me breakthrough, was observing the raw materials, especially the wood. I’ve decided that my linework should behave like woodgrains. This gave me a lot of flexbility and the opportunity for the linework to interact with the type, a key aspect of the exhibition due to the information needing display.
